You must understand and be able to use:
- the present simple
- the present continuous (yes/no answers are OK)
- questions words (who, what, when, where, why, how many, how old, which)
- some and any
- Do you have...? Have you got...?
- prepositions of place (in, on, under, between, next to) to indicate the position of people and objects (Where is the book? It is on the table.)
- pronouns (my, your, his, her, its, our, their; mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs)
- describe people, animals, objects and places
- ASK simple questions about personal details: Do you have any pets?
