There are 2 phases:
- Discussion of a TOPIC prepared by the candidate (up to 5 minutes). Do not select your topic from the list of subject areas. ASK the examiner at least 1 question about your topic area. The examiner might request more information, facts or details.
- Conversation on 2 subject areas selected by the examiner (up to 5 minutes). ANSWER appropriately to questions and give information in simple and direct exchanges.

Hobbies and sports Food Weekend and seasonal activities
Syllabus:
Grammar
Past simple tense of regular and common irregular verbs. Talking about past events. Expressions of past time - yesterday, last night.
Going to future Talking about future plans and intentions.
Like + gerund/infinitive, eg I like shopping, I like to read books.
Expressing likes and dislikes
Adverbs of manner and frequency - sometimes, often, never
Comparatives and superlatives of adjectives
Adverbial phrases of frequency - every day, once a week
Link word but
Vocabulary specific to the topic area and subject areas
Use correct pronunciation of the vocabulary specific to the topic and subject areas.
